About Steel Golem

Steel Golem, Artifact creature — golem, designed by Donato Giancola first released in Jun, 1997 in the set Weatherlight and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 1.22.

This Steel Golem card could be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's strategy by limiting their ability to cast creature spells. However, there are better options such as Platinum Emperion which not only restricts the opponent's ability to deal damage but also has a bigger body. Steel Golem may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations, but could still be a fun and interesting choice for casual play or themed decks.

Rules

04/01/08

A “creature spell” is any spell with the type Creature, even if it has other types such as Artifact or Enchantment. Older cards of type Summon are also Creature spells.

10/04/04

You can put creatures onto the battlefield by means other than casting them.
