Aether Gale can be a powerful tool in a control or tempo deck that aims to disrupt your opponent's board state and buy time to establish your own threats. While Aether Gale has its uses, there are arguably better options available, such as Cyclonic Rift, which offers more flexibility and a stronger effect for a similar mana cost. Whether Aether Gale should see play ultimately depends on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck it's being considered for.
