Selfless Safewright fits best in a creature-dense green tribal deck (like Elves, Humans, Soldiers, or any go-wide typal strategy) that wants to protect its board from sweepers or targeted removal, especially in formats like Commander where tribal synergies are common; flash plus convoke makes it easier to hold up interaction while developing your board, and the temporary hexproof and indestructible can blow out board wipes such as *Wrath of God* or spot removal in response.
