Annihilate, Instant, designed by Kev Walker first released in Oct, 2000 in the set Invasion and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.04.
This card, Annihilate, would be beneficial in a mono-black control deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides efficient creature removal while also replacing itself by drawing a card. While it is a solid removal spell, there are better options available such as Murder or Hero's Downfall, which have more versatility in targeting any creature, not just nonblack ones. However, in a format where nonblack creatures are prevalent, Annihilate could see play as a budget-friendly alternative in certain deck strategies.

If the targeted creature is an illegal target when Annihilate tries to resolve, the entire spell doesn’t resolve. You won’t draw a card.
