About Wakedancer

Wakedancer, Creature — human shaman, designed by Austin Hsu first released in Feb, 2012 in the set Dark Ascension and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.04.

Wakedancer would be a great addition to a black-based deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures or has ways to easily trigger the morbid ability, such as with cards that allow for creature removal or self-sacrifice. While Wakedancer is a solid card for generating additional value, there are potentially better options like Bloodsoaked Champion or Bloodghast that offer more consistent graveyard recursion and board presence. However, in the right deck, Wakedancer could definitely see play as a versatile and synergistic card for generating Zombie tokens.
