About Shipwreck Moray

Shipwreck Moray, Creature — fish, designed by Mike Bierek first released in Jan, 2017 in the set Aether Revolt and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.72.

A deck focused on energy generation and utilization, such as a blue-green energy deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from including Shipwreck Moray. While it provides a decent amount of energy upon entering the battlefield, its ability to pump itself by sacrificing energy counters can be useful for both offense and defense. However, there are potentially better cards for energy-focused decks, such as Bristling Hydra, which offers a more efficient way to generate energy and provides a bigger threat on the battlefield, making it a stronger choice overall. Shipwreck Moray could see play in more casual or budget decks, but competitive decks may opt for more powerful and versatile energy cards.
