A deck that focuses on creature-heavy strategies, such as tribal decks or token decks, would benefit greatly from including Volcanic Wind. However, for more efficient and versatile options, cards like Earthquake or Rolling Earthquake may be better choices as they offer more control over the amount of damage dealt and can also hit players or planeswalkers.
