About Reinforce
Reinforce, Spell, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Mar, 2026 in the set Origins.
Reinforce is best in decks that run a high density of impactful units—especially midrange or ramp strategies that want to cheat out a powerful 5–8 cost unit ahead of curve—since it both digs five cards deep and effectively refunds up to 5 energy on the unit you hit, making it ideal for decks built around high‑impact threats with strong on‑play or tempo-swing effects. It’s particularly strong in builds that don’t mind banishing (or even benefit from it) and that minimize low‑cost units to avoid low‑value hits. However, in faster aggro lists it’s too slow at 5 cost, and in control it can be inconsistent if unit count is low. Compared to more consistent tutors or direct ramp cards (such as effects that search and add to hand without randomness, or straight energy acceleration), Reinforce is higher variance but offers a bigger tempo spike when it connects; if the format has reliable unit tutors or cheaper ramp options, those may be safer choices. Overall, it should see play in unit‑dense m
