It’s particularly strong in bounce/synergy decks or lists that can force opponents to pick up heavily invested or buffed units, effectively undoing their tempo. However, in aggressive decks it’s usually too slow, and in control decks there are often better, more one‑sided options—such as targeted bounce spells (e.g., a single‑target Recall effect) or full board resets that don’t give opponents choice.
