About Desecration Elemental
Desecration Elemental, Creature — elemental, designed by Pete Venters first released in Jun, 2004 in the set Fifth Dawn and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 1255.44.
This Desecration Elemental card would be best suited for a black control deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value and disrupting the opponent's game plan. While it can be a powerful deterrent with its Fear ability, the drawback of having to sacrifice a creature whenever a player casts a spell can be quite costly. There are potentially better cards for similar strategies, such as Grave Pact or Dictate of Erebos, which provide more consistent and impactful effects without the same level of downside. Overall, Desecration Elemental could see play in certain niche decks that can leverage its abilities effectively, but it may not be a top-tier choice in most competitive scenarios.
