About Electropotence
Electropotence, Enchantment, designed by Christopher Moeller first released in Oct, 2009 in the set Zendikar. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 77.04.
A deck focused on aggressive creature strategies, such as a red-based aggro or midrange deck, would benefit from including Electropotence. This card can provide additional reach and removal potential by allowing creatures to deal damage as they enter the battlefield. While there may be more efficient or versatile options available, such as Warstorm Surge or Impact Tremors, Electropotence could still see play in decks looking to maximize creature damage output and control the board.
Rules
10/01/09
If you pay , the creature that entered the battlefield deals damage equal to its current power to the targeted permanent or player. If it’s no longer on the battlefield, its last known existence on the battlefield is checked to determine its power.
10/01/09
You target a permanent or player when the ability triggers. You decide whether or not to pay as the ability resolves.
