Sett – The Boss is a strong inclusion in buff-centric midrange or combo decks that stack persistent stat increases (counters, auras, or temporary combat tricks that convert into lasting buffs) onto key units, especially ones with powerful on-board or attack-triggered effects worth protecting; because he costs 0, he’s low opportunity cost and excels in decks that can reliably generate excess buffs and spare rainbow runes to convert lethal damage into tempo-neutral recalls, effectively blanking removal while preserving investment. He’s less useful in swarm, spell-heavy control, or decks that rely on expendable units rather than tall threats.
