About Chandra's Ignition

Chandra's Ignition, Sorcery, designed by Eric Deschamps first released in Jul, 2015 in the set Magic Origins Promos and was printed exactly in 6 different ways. It see play in 2 formats: Commander and Duel Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of ₱ 464.94. It's a key card in 13 combos.

This card, Chandra's Ignition, would be a great addition to a deck focused on creatures with high power, such as a red aggro or midrange deck. It can serve as a powerful board wipe while also dealing damage to your opponent. However, for a more competitive edge, some players might prefer cards like Blasphemous Act or Anger of the Gods for more efficient board control. Chandra's Ignition could see play in certain creature-heavy strategies, but its high mana cost may limit its inclusion in more streamlined decks.

Rules

06/22/15

If the creature becomes an illegal target by the time Chandra’s Ignition tries to resolve (perhaps because another player controls it or it’s left the battlefield), Chandra’s Ignition won’t resolve and none of its effects will happen. No damage will be dealt.

06/22/15

The creature is the source of the damage, not Chandra’s Ignition. For example, Chandra’s Ignition can have a white creature deal damage to a creature with protection from red.
