About Benevolent Offering
Benevolent Offering, Instant, designed by Ryan Yee first released in May, 2020 in the set Commander 2014 and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 15.51.
Benevolent Offering would be beneficial in a white token or life gain deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides both creature tokens and life gain. However, there are better cards available for these strategies, such as Spectral Procession for token generation or Ajani's Pridemate for life gain. While Benevolent Offering could see play in casual or themed decks, it may not be the most competitive choice for optimized strategies.
Rules
11/07/14
In some unusual cases, the Spirit tokens will have a toughness of 0 or less as they enter the battlefield, perhaps because an opponent controls an enchantment that gives your creatures -1/-1. Because state-based actions aren’t performed in the middle of a spell’s resolution, you’ll gain 2 life for each of those Spirit tokens. After Benevolent Offering has finished resolving, the Spirit tokens will die and subsequently cease to exist.
11/07/14
You choose the opponents for each effect as the spell resolves.
