This card, Glaciers, would benefit a control deck that aims to slow down aggressive strategies by turning all Mountains into Plains, effectively disrupting red-based strategies that rely on Mountain lands. A better alternative could be Blood Moon, which has a similar effect of turning all non-basic lands into Mountains, potentially causing more disruption and being harder to remove.
