About Aether Chaser

Aether Chaser would be a great fit for an aggressive red deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides early board presence and potential for creating additional creatures to apply pressure on the opponent. While it is a solid card for its cost, there are potentially better options like Goblin Guide or Monastery Swiftspear that offer more consistent damage output in similar decks, so Aether Chaser may not see as much play in competitive settings but can still be a fun and effective choice for casual games.

Some triggered abilities state that you “may pay” a certain amount of . You can’t pay that amount multiple times to multiply the effect. You simply choose whether or not to pay that amount of as the ability resolves, and no player may take actions to try to stop the ability’s effect after you make your choice.
