Alabaster Mage would be a valuable addition to a white weenie or aggro deck that aims to gain life and maintain board presence. While it offers a useful ability to grant lifelink to a creature, there are more efficient options like Ajani's Pridemate or Heliod, Sun-Crowned that provide additional benefits and synergies in such decks. However, Alabaster Mage could still see play in casual or budget decks looking for a lifelink option.
