This card would be beneficial in a control or burn deck aiming to remove threats from the board while also preventing opponents from utilizing graveyard recursion strategies. However, there are more efficient removal options available in the current Magic: the Gathering card pool that offer similar effects without the downside of exiling opponent's creatures and planeswalkers, such as Lightning Bolt or Path to Exile.
