Diese Karte, Canopy Claws, wäre in einem grünbasierten Aggro- oder Midrange-Deck von Vorteil, das darauf abzielt, die fliegenden Kreaturen der Gegner vorübergehend zu stören. Obwohl sie einen nützlichen Effekt für ihren Preis bietet, gibt es potenziell bessere Optionen wie Plummet oder Clip Wings für eine dauerhaftere Entfernung fliegender Kreaturen. Canopy Claws könnte in bestimmten Metas gespielt werden, in denen fliegende Kreaturen weit verbreitet sind, aber ihre Wirksamkeit kann je nach Gesamtstrategie des Decks variieren.
