Desperate Lunge would be beneficial in a White Weenie or Aggro deck looking to close out games quickly with aggressive creatures by providing a temporary power boost and evasion. However, there are better options available such as Brave the Elements or Unbreakable Formation which offer more versatile protection and board presence. Desperate Lunge could see situational play in specific metas where the life gain and flying are crucial, but overall, it may not be a staple in most competitive decks.
