About Flow of Maggots

Flow of Maggots, Creature — insect, designed by Ron Spencer first released in Jun, 1995 in the set Ice Age. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of ₱ 20.05.

Flow of Maggots could be a valuable addition to a black-based aggro deck looking to disrupt opponents' defenses with its unblockable ability, especially against decks with few Wall creatures. However, its cumulative upkeep cost may become a burden in the long run, making it less efficient compared to other low-cost, high-impact creatures like Vampire Nighthawk or Phyrexian Obliterator, which offer more immediate value and board presence. Overall, while Flow of Maggots has its niche uses, it may not be a top choice for competitive play due to its upkeep cost and limited utility.

Paying cumulative upkeep is always optional. If it’s not paid, the permanent with cumulative upkeep is sacrificed. Partial payments of the total cumulative upkeep cost can’t be made. For example, if a permanent with “cumulative upkeep ” has three age counters on it when its cumulative upkeep ability triggers, it gets another age counter and then its controller chooses to either pay or sacrifice the permanent.
