A white-based control or graveyard recursion deck would benefit from using Jolted Awake as it provides a way to bring back key artifacts or creatures from the graveyard while generating energy counters. However, there are potentially better options available such as Sun Titan which can bring back any permanent with a converted mana cost of 3 or less when it attacks or Emeria, the Sky Ruin which can return a creature card from the graveyard to the battlefield every upkeep if you control seven or more planes. Whether Jolted Awake should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck, as well as the overall power level of the format it is being played in.
