This Plated Sliver card would be beneficial in a Sliver tribal deck, where the focus is on playing multiple Sliver creatures to benefit from their collective abilities. However, there are better options like Sinew Sliver or Predatory Sliver that provide more impactful bonuses to Sliver creatures, making them more viable choices for competitive play. Plated Sliver could still see play in more casual or thematic Sliver decks for its unique ability to boost toughness, but for a more optimized deck, other Sliver cards may be preferred.

Abilities that Slivers grant, as well as power/toughness boosts, are cumulative. However, for some abilities, like flying, having more than one instance of the ability doesn’t provide any additional benefit.
