About Curse of Misfortunes

Curse of Misfortunes, Enchantment — aura curse, designed by Terese Nielsen first released in Feb, 2012 in the set Dark Ascension. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.67.

Curse of Misfortunes can be a powerful addition to a Curse-themed deck in Magic: the Gathering, especially in a multiplayer setting where you can target different opponents with curses. While it provides a consistent way to search for and attach curses to players, it may be a bit slow at 4 mana. Other cards like Curse of Thirst or Curse of Fool's Wisdom may offer more immediate impact, but Curse of Misfortunes could still see play in a slower, more controlling deck that aims to lock down opponents over time with a variety of curses.

The Curse card you put onto the battlefield must have a different name than each other Curse enchanting the enchanted player when the triggered ability resolves. If multiple of these abilities trigger, the Curse card you put onto the battlefield when the first resolves may impact your choices for each subsequent one.
