About March of the Multitudes

March of the Multitudes, Instant, designed by Zack Stella first released in Oct, 2018 in the set Guilds of Ravnica and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 6.19.

A deck that focuses on generating a wide board presence with a lot of creatures would benefit from using March of the Multitudes, as it allows you to create a significant number of lifelink tokens at instant speed. While it can be a powerful card in the right deck, some may argue that cards like Secure the Wastes or Raise the Alarm could be more efficient in certain situations due to their lower mana cost and immediate token generation, but March of the Multitudes could still see play in decks looking for a strong late-game finisher or a way to gain life and stabilize the board.

If a creature you control has a mana ability with in the cost, activating that ability while casting a spell with convoke will result in the creature being tapped before you pay the spell’s costs. You won’t be able to tap it again for convoke. Similarly, if you sacrifice a creature to activate a mana ability while casting a spell with convoke, that creature won’t be on the battlefield when you pay the spell’s costs, so you won’t be able to tap it for convoke.

You can tap any untapped creature you control to convoke a spell, even one you haven’t controlled continuously since the beginning of your most recent turn.
