About Sengir Vampire
Sengir Vampire, Creature — vampire, designed by Anson Maddocks first released in Aug, 1993 in the set Limited Edition Alpha and was printed exactly in 36 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.35.
A deck that focuses on aggressive creature strategies or sacrificing creatures for value would benefit from using Sengir Vampire, as it can quickly grow in power by dealing damage and taking advantage of creatures dying. However, there are better cards available in Magic: The Gathering that offer more immediate impact or have stronger synergies with specific strategies, such as Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet or Bloodghast. While Sengir Vampire can be a fun and flavorful inclusion in certain decks, it may not see competitive play due to its high mana cost and slower payoff compared to other options.
Rules
09/22/11
If Sengir Vampire and a creature it dealt damage to are both put into a graveyard at the same time, Sengir Vampire’s ability will trigger, but it will do nothing when it resolves.
07/15/07
If Sengir Vampire deals nonlethal damage to a creature and then a different effect or damage source causes that creature to be put into a graveyard later in the turn, Sengir Vampire’s ability will trigger and it will get a +1/+1 counter.
