About Thrull Retainer
Thrull Retainer, Enchantment — aura, designed by Ron Spencer first released in Nov, 1994 in the set Fallen Empires and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.35.
Thrull Retainer could be beneficial in a black aggro deck looking to boost the power of its creatures and protect them with regeneration. However, there are more efficient options like Rancor or Dead Weight that provide similar benefits for the same or lower cost, making Thrull Retainer less likely to see play in competitive Magic: The Gathering decks.
Rules
10/04/04
This leaves the battlefield when you activate its activated ability, but the enchanted creature won’t be regenerated until the ability resolves. In the intervening time, the creature will no longer have the bonus that this had been giving it. This may cause the creature to be destroyed before the regeneration shield is created.
