This card, Daze, would benefit decks that aim to control the game by disrupting their opponent's spells and tempo. Decks that rely on early game aggression and tempo plays, such as Delver or Merfolk decks in Legacy or Vintage formats, could find Daze useful for its ability to counter spells for free by returning an Island to hand.
