About Riverwise Augur

Riverwise Augur, Creature — merfolk wizard, designed by Alayna Danner first released in Jan, 2018 in the set Rivals of Ixalan and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 5.75.

Riverwise Augur would be beneficial in a control or combo deck that focuses on drawing cards and manipulating the top of the library. While it provides card advantage, the downside of having to put two cards back on top of the library may limit its effectiveness in certain strategies. Other cards like Jace, the Mind Sculptor or Snapcaster Mage may offer more versatility and power in similar decks, potentially making them better choices over Riverwise Augur. However, if the deck relies heavily on card draw and library manipulation, Riverwise Augur could still see play as a solid option for maintaining card advantage.
