| Description | Until end of turn, creatures you control gain "When this creature dies, it deals 2 damage to target creature an opponent controls." |
| Flavor | The audience quickly realized a few things: it wasn't a magic trick, there wasn't candy in there, and they'd need new clothes. |

About Showstopper
Showstopper, Instant, designed by Steve Prescott first released in May, 2013 in the set Dragon's Maze. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 5.71.
A deck that focuses on sacrificing creatures for value, such as a Rakdos Sacrifice deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from using Showstopper. The ability to deal 2 damage to a target creature when your creatures die can help control the board and remove threats. While there may be better cards with similar effects, such as Judith, the Scourge Diva, Showstopper could still see play in decks looking for additional ways to generate value from sacrificing creatures.
Rules
04/15/13
Creatures that come under your control after Showstopper resolves won’t have the ability.
