This card would be a great addition to a defensive control deck that focuses on stalling the game and protecting your life total. Its multiple abilities make it a versatile blocker that can also become a formidable attacker when needed. However, there are better options available in the current Magic: the Gathering card pool that offer similar defensive capabilities with additional benefits, such as Wall of Omens or Wall of Blossoms.
