Singularity, Spell, designed by Kudos Productions first released in Mar, 2026 in the set Origins.
Singularity fits best in a midrange or control deck that wants flexible, high-impact removal—especially spell-based control lists that aim to stall the board, answer multiple threats efficiently, and win later through inevitability or big finishers. Dealing 6 damage to up to two units is excellent against mid-to-large bodies and can generate strong tempo swings or 2‑for‑1 value, making it ideal in metas where durable threats are common; however, in faster aggro-heavy environments, its 6-cost may be too slow compared to cheaper spot removal or board wipes. If the format includes lower-cost single-target removal that cleanly answers key threats (e.g., 3–4 cost hard removal) or a similarly priced board clear that hits all units reliably, those may be more efficient depending on your needs. Overall, Singularity should see play in slower control or spell-centric midrange decks, particularly when the meta rewards high-damage, multi-target interaction rather than early-game tempo.
