There is a condition for using it in tournaments, however

The player MUST use the classic Hearthstone cardback on the deck they are using Maestra in, and another cardback for their other decks

"If a player is found to have queued a deck with Maestra in it with any other cardback, or a deck without Maestra in it with the classic cardback while playing a lineup with a Maestra deck in it, they have committed an infraction. The initial penalty for this infraction is a game loss."
