"I don’t think Walls would be a creature type if not for the inertia of their use in early Magic. [...] My guess is they would be artifacts and not at all creatures, setting up attack restrictions without being able to block."

This is interesting because Walls are a classic type of creature in Magic, bringing back memories for older players, but the thought process of the design team changed during all these years!
