About Astral Drift

Astral Drift, Enchantment, designed by Anna Steinbauer first released in May, 2019 in the set Modern Horizons and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.53.

Astral Drift is a powerful card that can be beneficial in a deck focused on cycling cards and triggering enter-the-battlefield effects. Decks that utilize cards with strong enter-the-battlefield abilities, such as creatures with powerful effects when they enter the battlefield, can benefit greatly from Astral Drift's ability to repeatedly exile and return creatures. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects, Astral Drift's unique ability to repeatedly exile and return creatures can make it a valuable inclusion in the right deck, especially in strategies focused on controlling the board and gaining incremental advantage over time.

Astral Drift’s triggered ability resolves before the cycling ability does. You won’t draw until after you choose the target and choose whether to exile the creature.

Auras attached to the exiled creature will be put into their owners’ graveyards. Equipment attached to the exiled creature will become unattached and remain on the battlefield. Any counters on the exiled creature will cease to exist. Once the exiled creature returns, it’s considered a new object with no relation to the object that it was.
