About Eternal Dragon

Eternal Dragon, Creature — dragon spirit, designed by Adam Rex first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 10 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.12.

This card would be beneficial in a control or midrange deck that focuses on white mana, as it provides recurring flying threat and mana fixing with Plainscycling. While Eternal Dragon has its niche uses, there are better options like Sun Titan or Emeria Angel for similar effects, making it less likely to see play in competitive decks unless in a specific Plains-focused strategy.

Plainscycling is an activated ability. Effects that interact with activated abilities (such as Stifle or Rings of Brighthearth) will interact with Plainscycling. Effects that interact with spells (such as Remove Soul or Faerie Tauntings) will not.

Unlike the normal cycling ability, Plainscycling doesn’t allow you to draw a card. Instead, it lets you search your library for a Plains card. After you find a Plains card in your library, you reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.
