A deck that aims to ramp up its mana quickly and consistently, such as a green-based ramp or landfall deck, would benefit from using Land Grant. While Land Grant can be a useful tool for fetching a Forest card and thinning out the deck, there are potentially better options like Farseek or Rampant Growth that provide similar benefits without the restriction of needing an empty hand. However, in specific deck builds where the hand is often empty or the ability to search for a Forest card is crucial, Land Grant could still see play as a situational card.
