While Drag to the Underworld is a solid removal spell for destroying target creatures, there are more efficient options available such as Murder or Hero's Downfall, which have lower casting costs and no condition for reduced cost. However, Drag to the Underworld could see play in decks specifically built around maximizing black devotion for its cost reduction benefit.
