Dieses Canyon Lurkers-Karte könnte in einem roten aggressiven Deck von Vorteil sein, das früh im Spiel Druck ausüben möchte, da seine Morph-Fähigkeit die Möglichkeit bietet, eine überraschende 5-Power-Kreatur zu spielen. Es gibt jedoch wahrscheinlich bessere Optionen für einen 4-Drop-Platz in den meisten Wettkampfdecks, wie z.B. Goblin Chainwhirler oder Kari Zev, Skyship Raider, die mehr Auswirkungen oder Synergien bieten. Canyon Lurkers wird wahrscheinlich nicht viel in Top-Decks gespielt, könnte aber dennoch in lockereren oder budgetfreundlicheren roten Decks eine Heimat finden.

When the spell resolves, it enters the battlefield as a 2/2 creature with no name, mana cost, creature types, or abilities. It’s colorless and has a converted mana cost of 0. Other effects that apply to the creature can still grant it any of these characteristics.
