Una baraja que se centre en los desencadenadores de landfall y estrategias de tempo se beneficiaría al incluir Calcite Snapper, ya que ofrece protección con capa y la capacidad de cambiar su fuerza y resistencia para trucos de combate. Aunque Calcite Snapper puede ser una adición divertida y versátil a tal baraja, puede haber mejores opciones disponibles dependiendo de la estrategia específica, como Tarmogoyf o Snapcaster Mage, que ofrecen un impacto más inmediato o versatilidad en el juego. The landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability (such as Rampant Growth) causes you to put a land onto the battlefield under your control. It will even trigger when a spell or ability causes another player to put a land onto the battlefield under your control (as can happen with Yavimaya Dryad’s ability, for example).
