About Channel Harm

Channel Harm, Instant, designed by David Gaillet first released in Jan, 2015 in the set Fate Reforged. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.10.

This card, Channel Harm, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on protecting its own permanents while also having the ability to deal damage to a target creature. However, there are better options available such as Teferi's Protection or Settle the Wreckage which offer more versatile protection and removal options. Channel Harm may not see much play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks due to its high cost and limited effectiveness compared to other available cards.

Channel Harm’s only target is the creature it may deal damage to. You choose that target as you cast Channel Harm, not at the time it prevents damage.

Whether the target creature is still a legal target is not checked after Channel Harm resolves. Damage will still be prevented, even if Channel Harm can’t deal damage to that creature.

You can choose a creature you control as the target. If you do, the damage Channel Harm deals to that creature won’t be prevented.
