About Runic Armasaur
Runic Armasaur, Creature — dinosaur, designed by Randy Vargas first released in Jul, 2018 in the set Core Set 2019 Promos and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 20.92.
This Runic Armasaur card would be beneficial in a control or midrange deck that aims to disrupt opponents' strategies by drawing cards whenever they activate non-mana abilities. While Runic Armasaur is a solid choice for such a strategy, there are potentially better options like Remora or Mystic Remora, which offer more consistent card draw at a lower cost, making them more popular choices in competitive play. However, Runic Armasaur could still see play in certain metagames or casual decks looking for a unique and fun card advantage engine.
Rules
07/13/18
Activated abilities contain a colon. They’re generally written “[Cost]: [Effect].” Some keyword abilities are activated abilities and will have colons in their reminder text. An activated mana ability is one that produces mana as it resolves, not one that costs mana to activate.
07/13/18
Runic Armasaur’s ability doesn’t trigger when an opponent activates an ability of a noncreature, nonland permanent that causes it to become a creature (such as a crew ability of a Vehicle).
