This card, Slice in Twain, would be beneficial in a green deck that focuses on creature removal and card advantage. While it provides a versatile solution to dealing with artifacts and enchantments, there are more efficient options available such as Naturalize or Return to Nature, which provide similar effects at a lower cost. However, Slice in Twain could still see play in sideboard tech against specific artifact or enchantment-heavy decks.

If the target artifact or enchantment is an illegal target by the time Slice in Twain resolves, the entire spell doesn’t resolve. You won’t draw a card. If, on the other hand, the target is a legal target but isn’t destroyed (most likely because it has indestructible), you’ll draw a card.
