Bot Bashing Time would fit best in a red midrange or control-leaning deck that wants efficient creature removal with exile upside, particularly in a metagame full of graveyard recursion, death triggers, or indestructible threats that need to be removed cleanly. However, at four mana for 6 damage, it’s likely too inefficient for competitive Constructed play, as red already has stronger and/or cheaper options: **Lightning Bolt** (1 mana, 3 damage) and **Play with Fire** or **Lightning Strike** are far more efficient at lower curves, **Abrade** offers flexibility, **Flame-Blessed Bolt** exiles for just 1 mana (though only 2 damage), and **Rending Flame** or **Obliterating Bolt** provide exile at a comparable or better rate depending on format. Even **Roast** (2 mana for 5 damage to a nonflying creature) is often more mana-efficient.
