A control or white weenie deck would benefit from including Angelic Edict, as it provides a versatile removal option for dealing with problematic creatures or enchantments. However, there are more efficient removal spells available, such as Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares, which are cheaper and provide additional benefits. Angelic Edict may not see play in competitive formats due to its high mana cost and the availability of better options.
