Solari Chief fits best in midrange or tempo-control decks that can reliably enable or exploit stun effects, since it functions as either immediate removal (if the target is already stunned) or as tempo disruption by stunning a key enemy unit and preventing its combat damage for the turn; decks built around stun synergies, lockdown strategies, or incremental board control will get the most value from it. However, at 5 cost, it competes with more efficient hard removal or higher-impact finishers, so in metas with access to cheaper unconditional removal or cards that both remove a unit and generate additional value (such as direct kill spells or units with strong on-play effects), those options are usually stronger and more flexible. Solari Chief should see play primarily in stun-focused archetypes or synergy-driven builds, but in generic midrange or control lists, there are often better, more consistent alternatives.
