**Emperor’s Dais** fits best in aggressive or tempo-focused decks that consistently conquer locations and can exploit “bounce” value—especially lists with strong *enter-the-field* (ETB) units, low-cost units you’re happy to replay, or synergy with token generation and sacrifice effects. Because it costs 0, it’s low-risk and rewards decks that already want to snowball board presence after conquering, turning excess energy into extra bodies while reusing key units. It’s particularly strong in go-wide Sand/token archetypes or midrange decks that gain value from replaying efficient units. However, if the format includes cards that generate tokens without requiring a unit to be returned (or that create stronger tokens for similar or lower cost), those are generally better since this card requires both conquering and an energy payment plus a tempo loss from bouncing a unit.
