Escasez de maná, Instant, diseñada por Dameon Willich lanzado por primera vez en Aug, 1993 en edición Limited Edition Alpha y fue impreso exactamente en 17 diferentes formas. Ver juego en 1 formatos: Commander. Actualmente se vende al precio más bajo de S/ 2.01.
Un mazo de control que tiene como objetivo alterar la base de maná del oponente y ralentizar su plan de juego se beneficiaría del uso de Mana Short en Magic: the Gathering. Si bien Mana Short puede ser efectivo en ciertas situaciones, existen mejores alternativas como Time Stop, que no solo aprovecha las tierras del oponente sino que también finaliza su turno, brindando una interrupción más impactante. En general, Mana Short podría jugarse en metajuegos específicos donde interrumpir el maná es crucial, pero su efectividad puede variar dependiendo de la estrategia del mazo y el plan de juego general.

Since this is an instant, your opponent may use instants in response to the casting of this spell. Note that such spells and abilities will be resolved before the mana pool is emptied by the Mana Short. This makes it useless as a countermeasure for spells. To use it effectively, you need to use it during Upkeep and even then it will not prevent the use of instant spells and abilities.
