Zeer onlogisch is het beste voor blauwe decks die flexibele, vroege interactie willen, maar nog steeds een harde counter in het late spel nodig hebben, met name Commander-decks, tempo-control shells, Spellslinger-decks en budgetblauwe lijsten die modale bruikbaarheid waarderen boven ruwe efficiëntie; het kan goedkope commandanten, snelle combo-stukken, docenten, mana-stenen en vroege bedreigingen tegenhouden voor {1}{U}, en vervolgens opschalen naar een volledige tegenspell voor {2}{U}{U}.
