Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Cards Realm, including all of its game-specific sites (such as those dedicated to Magic: The Gathering, Hearthstone, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!), apps and APIs (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

The Service lets you browse cards and sets, build and share decks, track card prices, follow competitive metagame statistics, create and join tournaments, trade cards with other users, read and submit articles/news, and participate in our forum and comment sections. Some features require a free account, and an optional paid supporter plan removes ads and unlocks extra perks.

3. Eligibility and Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to use of online services without parental approval) to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide inaccurate registration information or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

5. User Content and Conduct

Decks, comments, forum posts, articles and any other content you submit ("User Content") remain yours, but by posting it on the Service you grant Cards Realm a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, adapt and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

You agree not to post User Content that:

• is illegal, defamatory, hateful, harassing or infringes on the rights of a third party;
• infringes any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right;
• contains spam, malware or unauthorized advertising;
• attempts to manipulate prices, trades, tournaments or metagame statistics in bad faith.

We use automated filtering and human moderation to enforce these rules, and we reserve the right to edit, remove content, or suspend/ban accounts that violate them, at our discretion and without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Cards Realm name, logo, site design and original text are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission. Card names, card text, card images and related game trademarks belong to their respective publishers (for example Wizards of the Coast, Blizzard Entertainment, The Pokémon Company and Konami); we display them for reference, informational and community purposes under applicable fair use principles, and make no claim of ownership over them.

7. Subscriptions, Payments, Cancellation and Refunds

Card search, deck building, prices, metagame stats, tournaments, articles and the forum are free to use. The optional supporter plan and any store purchases are processed by our payment partners, Stripe and PayPal; we do not store your full card details on our servers.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase, payments already made are non-refundable; if you believe you were charged in error, contact us at staff@cardsrealm.com and we will review it in good faith.

8. Third-Party Links and Advertising

The Service displays advertising (including through our partner Ezoic) and affiliate links to third-party stores (such as TCGPlayer, Cardmarket and Card Kingdom). We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third-party sites, and linking to them does not imply endorsement.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that card data, prices, legality information or metagame statistics are complete, accurate or up to date, and they should not be treated as financial or purchasing advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cards Realm and its staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required to do so by law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the Capital of the State of Rio de Janeiro have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, with express waiver of any other, however privileged it may be.
